Mission Math Team
For the 2026-2027 year

Sreeram Patcha, President
Sreeram is a senior at Skyline High School. He started competing in math competitions in seventh grade and has competed in competitions like Mathcounts, making the state competition twice, and the AMC’s. Apart from math, he enjoys playing tennis and playing video games.

Varun Agarwal, CEO
Varun Agarwal is a junior at West High School. He has participated in MathCounts and AMC 10. Outside of competition math, he does Science Olympiad, as well as HOSA and FBLA, where he won 2nd place in Website Coding and Development at Nationals. Outside of these competitions, Varun enjoys coding, hiking, and playing games with his brother.

Neil Raman, CTO, Director of Outreach
Neil is a senior at West High School. He has participated in math competitions such as AMC 8/10, Mathcounts, where he has qualified for state, and competitions through Mission Math. Outside of math, he enjoys participating in HOSA, DECA, and FBLA, where he has qualified for nationals multiple times, and TSA, where he serves as a Utah State Officer.

Yicheng Deng, CTO
Yicheng is a junior at Skyline High School. He has competed at the Utah Mathcounts State Competition multiple times as well as competing in multiple other math competitions such as the AMC 8, the AMC 10, ARML, and Stanford Math Tournament. Aside from math he also enjoys playing tennis, playing basketball with his friends, programming, and video games.

Hailey Park, Director of Outreach
Hailey Park is a junior at Skyline High School. She started competition math in 6th grade. She’s competed in various math competitions such as Mathcounts, AMC’s, Utah State Math Contest, and Math Kangaroo. She qualified for Mathcounts Nationals in 2023 and placed top-5 twice in the Utah State Math Contest. Outside of math, she also participates in HOSA, where she serves as a Utah State officer. In her free time, she enjoys playing violin and golf.

Agatha Hunnicutt, WiSTEM Camp VP
Agatha is a senior at West High School and has participated in math competitions since 5th grade. She has placed 1st in District Mathcounts and been on her school Mathcounts team 3 years in a row, becoming the 2nd place State team in 2023. She was on the AMC 8 National Honor Roll twice and scored in the top 1% on the Utah State Math Competition junior exam. Besides math, Agatha loves crocheting, watching TV shows, and spending time with friends.

Catriona Kawamoto, VP of Tutoring
Catriona is a senior at the Waterford School. She has participated in math competitions since 5th grade including the AMC 8, AMC 10, and Mathcounts, where she reached the state level twice. Aside from math, she enjoys Science Olympiad and HOSA, where she has reached state and qualified for nationals. In her free time, Catriona enjoys basketball, playing viola and jazz guitar, and ethics.

Mary Fedorov, VP of Tutoring
Mary Fedorov is a sophomore at Hillcrest High School. She has participated in many math and science competitions, including AMC8/10, MathCounts, North South Regional Contests, and Math Kangaroo. In AMC8 2025, she achieved the Maryam Mirzhakhani Certificate of Excellence. She placed first in her category at the University of Utah Science and Engineering Fair and in the 2025 Math Kangaroo. Besides math and science, Mary enjoys computer programming, reading, and fishing.

Pranav Bagirathan, VP of Winter Competition
Pranav Bagirathan is a sophomore at Hillcrest High School. He has participated in math and science competitions like AMC 8, Math Kangaroo, Mathcounts, Berkeley Math Tournament and NSF, competing at both state and national levels. Pranav's passion for problem-solving extends to science, where he has won the USEF science fair at the state level and qualified for the Thermofisher competition multiple times. Outside of academics, Pranav enjoys building Lego architecture and playing piano to Bollywood dance, Carnatic music, table tennis, and chess.

Atharv Khemka, VP of Winter Competition
Atharv is a junior at West High School. He has participated in various math competitions like Mathcounts, AMC 8/10, Utah State Math, Math Kangaroo, UMO, SMT, Purple Comet, ARML, and Mission Math. In 2023, he placed first at the district and chapter Mathcounts competition and was on the 2nd place team. He also placed at the 2024 Utah State Math Contest. Atharv also enjoys participating in science fair and has placed top 5 at USEF in Biology & Microbiology. Other than math, he loves swimming, reading and writing fantasy fiction, piano, policy debate, and hanging out with his friends.

Kevin Ying, VP of Spring Competition
Kevin Ying is a senior at Skyline High School. He has competed in many math competitions such as the AMC 8 and 10, Mathcounts, ARML, the SMT, and the Purple Comet. He qualified for Mathcounts Nationals in 2023 as well as getting 8th in the state in 2022. He has made honor roll on the AMC 8 several times and he made the honor roll on the Stanford Math Tournament (SMT) in 2023. Aside from math Kevin enjoys playing tennis and participating in debate.

Kethan Reddy, VP of Spring Competition
Kethan is a sophomore at Hillcrest High School. He has competed in math competitions such as MATHCOUNTS, AMC 8, AMC 10, NSF, and Math Kangaroo. He also has participated and received recognition in many science competitions, including the University of Utah Science and Engineering Fair, where many of his projects focus on helping the environment. Outside of math and science, Kethan enjoys playing basketball, riding his bike, and learning about cars.

Adwita Mandiwal, VP of Math Circle, VP of Summer Camp
Adwita Mandiwal is a sophomore at West High School. She has been involved with math and STEM since a young age, and has had success in many math competitions, including the AMCs, ARML, MATHCOUNTS, AIME, HMMT, SMT, and more. She placed top 10 at Mathcounts State for 3 years, coming 5th in 2025. She qualified for the AIME in 7th grade and made the honor roll for the AMC 8 3 times. She has also had success at science fair, qualifying for the Thermofisher JIC. Her interests branch beyond math, and she loves to run, read, debate, and write poetry.

Aashita Mandiwal, VP of Math Circle
Aashita is a sophomore at West High School. She has participated in many math competitions, including the AMCs, AIME, ARML, HMMT, SMT, BMT, UMO, and more. In addition, she qualified for the USAJMO in eighth grade and is a 3x MATHCOUNTS National qualifier, ranking 14th nationally in 2024. She has also qualified for the G2 Math Summer Program and the Thermofisher JIC Top 300. Outside of math, Aashita loves crocheting, participating in debate and mock trial, playing basketball, running, and piano.

Tanish Shetty, VP of Media Production, VP of Summer Camp
Tanish Shetty is a junior at Karl G. Maeser Preparatory Academy. He has excelled in many prestigious math competitions like HMMT, Stanford Math Tournament including being part of the ARML team in 2024 and qualifying for AIME in grade 8. He is a 2x National MATHCOUNTS qualifier and a 2x Top 300 finalist in the Thermofisher/Broadcom Science Fair. He also enjoys coding and is in the USACO Silver division. Besides that, he also enjoys ultimate frisbee, pickleball, stock analysis , and tasting different hot sauces!

Adam Deng
Adam is a sophomore at the Waterford School. He has participated in many math competitions including the AMC8, AMC10, Mathcounts, and Mission Math competitions. He has made Distinguished Honor Roll on the AMC8, Honor Roll on the AMC10, won first at a Mission Math competition, and was on the Utah Mathcounts Nationals team when they won 4th place. Aside from math, Adam enjoys playing golf, playing the violin, coding, traveling to different places, and playing video games.

Shiva Murugappan
Shiva is currently a junior at Hillcrest High school. In 7th grade he started doing Mathcounts and Mission Math competitions, transitioning to the AMC 8 and the AMC 10. Tutoring and helping others learn math are some of his favorite ways to stay involved with math outside of competitions. Other than math, Shiva enjoys playing Minecraft, spending time with his dog, and playing tennis and pickleball with his friends.

Ananya Pallinti
Ananya is a junior at West High School and has been introduced to math from a young age. She has a prominent passion for math which has led her to compete in various math competitions, such as State Math Competition, AMC, MATHCOUNTS, Mission Math, and more! Apart from math, she really enjoys science, and competes in Science Fair and Science Olympiad. She also enjoys taking part of clubs at her school such as HOSA and Biology Club.

Sol Schwarz
Sol Schwarz is a freshman at West High School. He has participated in math competitions for multiple years, such as the AMC8, Math Matters, where he placed 3rd in Utah, and MATHCOUNTS, where he has reached the state level. Outside of math, he also enjoys playing the drums, exploring philosophy, playing video games, and spending time with friends.

Chloe Park
Chloe Park is a freshman at Skyline High School. She started competition math in 4th grade, competing in many different math competitions like Mathcounts, AMC’s, Math Kangaroo, Utah State Math Contest, and ARML. She got 5th place at Mathcounts and was part of the placing team in the Utah State Math Contest. Outside of math, she participates in debate and STEM Fair. In her free time, she enjoys playing cello and golf.

Ryan Jiang
Ryan Jiang is a junior at the Waterford School. He has participated in math competitions such as MATHCOUNTS nationals, AMC, AIME, USAJMO, ARML, HMMT, and Purple Comet. He is a USAJMO qualifier and a two-time AIME qualifier. Outside of competitions, Ryan enjoys running, playing tennis, and playing violin.

Arnav Rai
Arnav Rai is a freshman at Skyline High School. He has participated in math competitions since 4th grade, including MathCounts, Mission Math, AMC 8, and the North South Foundation. Beyond competition math, he also competes in the Science Fair and in Speech and Debate. In his free time, he enjoys swimming and playing the drums.

Arina Singh
Arina is a sophomore at Hillcrest High School who has always been interested by math. Whether solving complex problems, competing in math contests, or helping others understand difficult concepts, she enjoys every opportunity to engage with math. Her passion has motivated her to participate in competitions such as AMC, MATHCOUNTS and Kangaroo Math. Outside of math, she enjoys dance and playing the piano.

Aditi Nagalingam
Aditi is a freshman at West High School. She began competition math in kindergarten and has participated in various math competitions such as the AMCs, MATHCOUNTS, HMMT, SMT, BMMT, and ARML. She is a 2026 AMC 8 Distinct Honor Roll receiver and was part of the 2026 MATHCOUNTS Nationals team. Additionally, she was a Thermo Fisher JIC Top 300 Qualifier in 2025. Besides math, Aditi enjoys playing the viola and exploring biology.

PingPing Li
PingPing is a freshman at Skyline Highschool. She has participated in various math competitions over the years, such as the AMC 8, and Mathcounts. Outside of math, she does karate, which she has been a 3x gold medalist in the U.S. Open, and a 2x gold medalist in the JIC. She also active in other activities, such as HOSA, science Olympiad, and debate. For fun she likes to play with her cat and bird.

Dylan Cheng
Dylan Cheng is a freshman at Skyline High School. He has participated in competition math since 4th grade, including Mathcounts, Mission Math, and the AMC 8. He has been on the placing team for Mathcounts multiple times and placed multiple times in Mission Math competitions. Outside of math, Dylan enjoys playing golf, playing the piano, coding, and playing video games.
