MISSION MATH UTAH

Founded in 2016, we are a student-run non-profit organization dedicated to creating awareness and a love of math among elementary and middle school students in the Greater Salt Lake area.

OUR MISSION

Raising awareness towards
competition math

Competition math encourages students to apply regular math into a real-world context. Mission Math aims to increase math literacy and involvement among students through camps and competitions.

Creating Leadership

Create opportunities for high school students who are passionate about math and our community; mentored by industry experts.

Give back to our community

Our profits are donated to support local STEM organizations such as MATHCOUNTS, USEF, and classrooms all throughout the state of Utah.

Empowering STEM-based
education

This past year, we organized a WiSTEM camp, allowing underrepresented students to learn more about STEM. The goal of the camp was to foster a love of math and a sense of community among those underrepresented in STEM.
